What I haven't posted

Okay, I have a lot of catching up to do! Here is what we have been up to in the last couple... months!
We continued to study Hebrew culture by celebrating Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur. We made Challah, learned to say a phrase in Hebrew as well as write a word from the phrase (the gold writing below says, "Bereshit" or "In the Beginning". The walk by the river was to throw out our crumbs from our Rosh Hashana Challah in order to wash away our past mistakes.

Salix continued working on our gnome dolls
and drawing... here is a bee he drew for Zoobooks- they get a subscription and every month they ask for art submissions.

Equinox...

Michaelmas! It was so warm! Some years I am freezing in a down parka, but we had a warm, long autumn and a beautiful day for our celebration this year. Michaelmas is a time for coming to terms with our inner dragons and finding the courage to face the dark time of winter that looms before us.

Brother time...

Although this does not entirely catch us up to the present, I think it is all I have time for tonight.
